The Wright Opera House has been part of Ouray since 1888, and today it’s run by Friends of the Wright Opera House, a local nonprofit. We bring arts and community together on our historic stage through live theater, music, film, comedy, lectures, and local talent, and we work alongside the Ouray International Film Festival and artists across the region.
The Wright is also here for your gatherings. We host weddings, parties, and celebrations, and every rental helps support our programming. If you’re planning a free, public meeting or event, our community room is available to anyone who can handle their own setup.
