The Ouray County Performing Arts Guild is a not-for-profit organization, bringing high-quality events in music, dance, theater and other genres to Ouray and Ridgway since 1983. We sponsor a year-round calendar of exciting concerts and performances for the enjoyment of Ouray County’s residents, visitors, and youth. Over the years, audiences in Ouray and Ridgway have enjoyed a great variety of OCPAG-sponsored events, ranging from exquisite classical concerts during the San Juan Chamber Music Festival to lively, engaging performances by numerous performers from all over the world. We are thrilled to partner with the Friends of the Wright Opera House and the Sherbino Theater to co-sponsor events for everyone in Ouray County to enjoy. Our newest non-profit collaborations within the community also include working with Ouray Made and the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership.
OCPAG’S ONGOING MISSION IS TO…
…connect local youth with the performing arts. We have given over $48,000 in scholarships over the past seven years to deserving students pursuing advanced training in music and theater, and we sponsor a variety of master classes, in-school performances featuring visiting artists and children’s programs. The flagship event is the annual San Juan Chamber MusicFest presented each August under the artistic direction of Max Levinson. We invite you to our upcoming events!
