Our winter ski hut system offers over 60 miles of Nordic trails and access to phenomenal remote backcountry turns. You are unlikely to cross another’s tracks. The San Juan Mountains present tremendous snow quality and first descent possibilities.
Our two 215-mile mountain bike routes through Colorado and Utah provide a premium minimalist experience for the do-it-yourself adventurer. Whether you are looking for technical single track or scenic dirt roads we have an option for you. As the only destination hut-to-hut based system in the U.S., we take the weight out of bike touring by offering fully stocked huts and minimal route finding challenges.
Our Sneffels Traverse is the ultimate hiking adventure! Complete the whole Sneffels Traverse starting at Last Dollar Pass above Telluride, CO and ending in Ouray, CO. Hike through the Sneffels Wilderness area and spend one night at each of the four huts. Five to nine miles of alpine hiking trails a day provide some of the very best views in the state. You will hike through alpine meadows, aspen groves, and beneath jagged peaks.

The San Juan Huts are located in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, Gunnison, San Juan, and Manti La Sal National Forests and maintains licenses under Special Use Permits from the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management as well as permit agreements with several private ranch owners.
